Enchanting Learning Phonics and Storytelling Cards - Set 2

Our thick and durable cards measure 120mmx120mm with rounded corners and display a vibrant image on one side with phonics and storytelling information on the other which is organised into colour-coded sections:

 

Blue – A list of real words to be used in games and activities

Green - A list of nonsense ( pseudo) words to be used in activities and games

Yellow – a ‘mind hook’ phrase to support the learning of the sound 

Red - A story starter or question to prompt storytelling and discussion for language development and later, creative writing.

 

As well as stunning illustrations, each card also includes a ‘flashcard style’ central sound and an example word which is broken down into sounds using our stars and wiggles system – learn more on our The Cards Page.

The idea is to use the cards beyond the phonics making them a sustainable investment in your child’s longer learning journey.

Enchanting Learning Cards won’t be put in a drawer once the phonics has been mastered as you’ll use them for many other areas of literacy as your child develops beyond phonics.

 

Suitable for any English-speaking country and are made in the UK.

 

Caution: Young should be supervised when using our cards. Cards and packaging should not be chewed or sucked on, doing so may result in small parts causing a choking hazard.

Designed by a teacher who is also a mum, the cards avoid jargon and explain the tricky bits of phonics on the instruction cards to give everyone the confidence to grab their cards for a variety of situations.

Enchanting Learning Cards are not a ‘scheme of work’, they are an additional tool designed to bring creativity and language skills to children’s learning. They are heavily researched and encompass all sounds found in formal schemes plus more sounds you won’t find in any scheme!

If damage occurs in transit, we will be able to organise a replacement product for you. If you are dissatisfied in any way, we will offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase as long as the product is returned in its original packaging without damage or signs of use.
